Apply the tests for completeness to each of the word groups in the following paragraph. If a word group is a complete sentence, mark the number preceding it. If it is a sentence fragment, revise it in two ways:by making it a complete sentence, and by combining it with a main clause written from the information given in other items.

1-In an interesting magazine article about vandalism against works of art. 2- The focus was on the vandals themselves.3-The motives of the vandals varying widely.4-Those who harm artwork are usually angry.5-But not necessarily at the artist or the owner.6-For instance,a man who hammered at Michaelangelo’s Pieta.7-And knocked off the Virgin Mary’s nose.8.Because he was angry with the Roman Catholic Church.9-Which knew nothing of his grievance.10-Although many damaged works can be repaired.11- Usually even the most skillful repairs are forever visible.

Weird directions! Here are a few ideas:

1-In an interesting magazine article about vandalism against works of art the focus was on the vandals themselves.

3-While the motives of the vandals varying widely., those who harm artwork are usually angry, but not necessarily at the artist or the owner.

6-For instance, a man hammered at Michaelangelo’s Pieta and knocked off the Virgin Mary’s nose because he was angry with the Roman Catholic Church, which knew nothing of his grievance.

10-Although many damaged works can be repaired, usually even the most skillful repairs are forever visible.

Is there a concern? Is there a verb? If no to one or the two certainly one of those questions then it is a fraction. The wreck comes impressive in the previous the verb. as an occasion…… The cat walked to the industry. The wreck between the discipline and predicate is real in the previous the verb which in this walked to the industry. a extra one…. Walked to the industry. needless to say a fraction, it has no section. The cat. Is a fraction to provided that there may be now no longer a predicate or verb. Anna .Xx
