Help. Primary Sources?

what are the main issues a student has to keep in mind while analysing them? [eg. authorial perspective and biases, incomplete information, chronological distance from events described etc…] plse help! urgent!

Sounds like you have a good start with your list. I would also include possible agendas or motives the writer may have. Many primary sources come from people trying to justify their actions after the fact. Peoples’ memories tend to get selective when retelling facts that might show them in a bad historical light. Or maybe your subject wrote something in order to convince other people to beleive something that wasn’t necessarily true (like propaganda). Hope this helps.
