8 divided by 4 + 10 = 12

8 x 4 divided by 2 = 16

8 x 2 divided by 4 = 4

The last one looks impossible to me.

problem 1: 8 divided by 4+10=12

problem 2: 8 x 4 divided by 2=16

problem 3: 8 x 2 divided by 4=4

problem 4: 8 divided by 4-2=4 (this problem only works if the 4-2 is in parenthesis)

Problem 3:

8 4 10

8 4 2

8 2 4

if there is a parenthesis on the subtraction then the answer is

8 /(4- 2)=4 if not then there is no solution. None of the choices will divide and subtract , following order of operations will give you a 4.

answer 1: 4dived2 + 10 = 12

answer 2: 8x4dived2 = 16

answer3: 8x2dived4=4

the last one is tricky unless we put the problem as

_dived(_ – _) . in this case 8dived(4-2) = 4

heyy girl i’m in 7th grade and i’m doing high school algebra. :] so yeah. it’s mainly guess and check.

1. 8, 4, 10

2. 8, 4, 2

3. 8, 2, 4

last one still doesn’t work unless you add parenthesis.

make sure you try to see how i did it in case your teacher asks you to say how you did it. lol. :]
