It really helps if you try to memorize one word or one phrase that’s at the end of each sentence that helps you rememeber what your topic is about. This also gives you a chance to ad lib a little, unless of course, is it a school paragraph that you were assigned? In that case memorize it section by section and rewrite it. If you draw a blank, then read that section over and study that part a little more than the rest, that way you have the easy parts memorized and can work a little harder on the hard parts. Good luck, and don’t worry, if you mess up, try to cover it as best as you can, don’t draw attention to it, if you mispronounce a word, don’t say something like, “or whatever that word is” after it. It only draws attention to your mistake that some people might not have realized you even made.

lol did you procrastinate? Well if you did and i know what you feel this is what i do.

Separate the paragraph into parts and remember each of those small parts separately. Take some time to really remember them. This will take you a long time if the paragraph is really long.

You’ll have to study those small parts during the night, so i suggest if you drink coffee drink it and study what you are supposed to study.if you don’t drink coffee than during the night walk around a little to stay awake and drink a little bit of milk, water (not really recommended unless really cold water) or soda.

Anything to do with memory requires that I make up some sort of memory cards. I use 3×5 index cards. 4 a long paragraph I would start out puting the first word on one side of the card, then the line on opposite side. first word triggers the line. continue til done. I memorized 5000 German words with this system in 6 weeks.

Read it over once or twice and then write it down or type it on your computer. That helps me engrave the words into my mind, then when your done rewriting it read it over again. Repeat as much as needed, and/or call a friend who has the same thing to memorize and the two of you can go over it together. Hope this helps!!!

id memorise a section of the paragraph first and keep covering it til u hav learned it then do another section and do the same and so on til u have memorised it. but do a practise first thing so u know u havent forgotten

read it.. then rewrite it down on a piece of paper (correct it if need be).. then read it.. then rewrite it down on a piece of paper…. repeat til u have it correctly written down on the piece of paper without looking at the paragraph.

alternatively, you could always get a sibling, parent or friend to help you.. so you say it and then they correct you as you go along..

theres not much you can do. just read it over and over and over and over again to yourself. out loud too.

try making a song to it or singing it to the tune of a song you like or a song like mary had a little lamb or something.

k. you read it five times, with noooooooooooo distractions. then, try to recite it, the moment you get even one word wrong, read it all again for five times. then recite again, when you get one wrong, read five times again, then, by default, after about 15 -30 min. you will have memorized it, and successfully recited it.

Start memorizing it right now. You should make it by tomorrow.
