Help! Biology Pie Chart. I have to make a pie chart on soil particle distribution. But, I can’t figure out how

I have to make 4 charts. The first chart is of coarse sand. There are 3 sections pine, hardwood, and field. Pine has 20mm. and hardwod also has 20mm but, thre is no coarse sand in the field. In the Fine sand there is 22mm of pine, 22mm of hardwood, and 20mm of field. In the Silt there is 17mm of pine 3mm of hardwood, and 10mm of field. In the clay there are 5mm of pine, 1mm of hardwood, and 1mm of field.

I have done all the research so I don’t think it’s cheating, if someone would make a pie chart for me. Someone who is good at this type of thing, please please please help me!!!

Thankyou,

Ashley

Do you have to draw it by hand, or can you use the computer?

With Microsoft Excel, you can go to

Insert >> Chart

Then select Pie under Chart type.

You first have to enter your data into cells.

To make it by hand, first find out the percentages of each type of soil. Then multiply that percent by 360 (for 360 degrees in a circle), draw a circle, and use a protractor to mark off the angle.
