Having trouble with geometry?

We’re working on properties, definitions, and postulates. It’s asking me which property, definition, or postulate justifies this:

If angle x and angle y are supplementery angles, then m(less than sign)x+m(less than sign)y=180 degrees. What do I do?

Had me going for a moment. Those are not less than signs, they are angle symbols. That is read the measure of angle x+ the measure of angle y=180. You should look up the definition of supplementary.

Here is something to go on

it is really easy

u have to really study at it

————————————-

1 = cos²(x) + sin²(x)

cos²(x) = sin²(x) – 1

sin²(x) = cos²(x) – 1

——————————

tan(x) = sin(x) / cos(x)

sin(x) = tan(x) * cos(x)

———————————-

tan²(x)=sin²(x) / cos²(x)

sin²(x)=tan²(x) * cos²(x)

————————————

√3/2 = cos(30º) = sin(60º)

————————————-

c² = a² +b² -2 *a *b * (cos(C))

b² = c² +a² -2 *a *c * (cos(B))

a² = c² +b² -2 *c *b * (cos(A))
