I take it as one shouldn’t talk about herself if someone she knew very well knows just as much about her. It could come back to blow up in her face. Pretty much, it’s a small world, and you never know who could reveal something about you.
For example (and this is all hypothetical):
Lets say I went on and on about how great of a swimmer I am, and I boasted that I tried out for the Olympics, but didn’t qualify. Suddenly, my friend, Jane Doe, comes around and casually mentions to a mutual acquaintance how I almost drowned last week. Neither Jane or I knew we had a mutual acquaintance until that person put me on blast the next time I decided to boast about swimming, and there goes my reputation for lying about myself. That would really suck. lol

First, is it suppose to read;”I WOULD not talk…..” If, so then it is saying the person talks most about what they know most about—If you are 100% honest with your self,knwoing the good/bad about yourself and willing to share that and you were a subject in school, you would be considered an expert in “YOU”, having a PhD and many other credintials to back up your analysis on “YOU”.

The speaker is saying that they would talk about someone else, but there is no one that they can know better than themselves, since the person that you can know the most intimately is YOU. What it sounds it’s saying to me is that a person can never know another quite as much as themselves.

One shouldn’t talk about other people because one can only truly know oneself.
