the domain is always the x values. In this case, { -2, -1, 0, 2}

the range is the y values: {2, 1, 0 2}

This is a function. The definition of function is that for every x there is one and only one y. You can have values in the range repeated, but not in the domain. For each value in the domain (the x’s), there is only one y.

The domain would be all of the x-coordinates. So that would be -2, -1, 0, 2.

The range would be all of the y-coordinates: (2, 1, 0, 2)

This would be a function. This is because there is only one range for every domain.
