10. I am concerned that this homework will hurt my brain.

9. I feel the study of science is against my religious beliefs that require me to believe things on blind faith.

8. Do I really need to memorize this because can’t I just get this formation if I need it by doing a websearch.

7. Why do I need to do homework. Dave Thomas (of Wendy’s fame) became a billionaire and he was a high school drop out?

6. Homework requires me to spend a great deal of time in quiet/isolated study which hampers my social development.

5. Why do I need to learn how to do calculations when all I will really need is a calculator or an electric cash register to do my most complicated work at my future discount retailor job anyway when I am not collecting my future social welfare check?

4. Haven’t you heard of the concept “ignorance is bliss?”

3. Homework requires that I stay inactive which can be poor for my health. I am young and I need to exercise.

2. Why should I try to learn from the mistakes from others by studying about the past. It didn’t help anyone in the past because after all they are all dead anyway.

I don’t want to study because everyone knows all school is about is training you for future job working for “the Man.” I gotta fight the power!!!
