That is easy. The war in Iraq is NOT a revolutionary war. We fought the British to obtain our freedom. We fought the Iraqi army of Saddam to give freedom to the Iraqi people. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Try this: Compare our revolutionary war to the one the French fought. Or the Russians.

Compare the Iraqi war to the one where we fought Germany to depose Hitler.

1. Nation Building was something the American Colonists WANTED

2. Nation Building was something forced down the throats of the Iraqis.

1. The Colonists in the Americas knew the meaning of Democracy.

2. Iraqis have no idea of the concept or meaning of the word nor did they ever care.

3. Iraq was a “created” nation out of the desert that had belonged to a civilization consisting of great minds, great thinkers and visionaries; destroyed by ignorant, petty tyrants only to be formed into a phony nation that had no history and no goals, and ruled by despicable murdering thugs.

4. The America we know was a confederation of colonies that decided to form itself into a nation of laws and governances; where people were free to think, express opinions and elect representatives to make and enforce laws.
