yes it does in most cases…for example if you have a cold and you sneeze in someone, the germs from your mouth stick to that person and most likely will cause the same disease to that person….so its always better to cover your mouth and avoid it…since you would not want to become the reason of another person’s illness

It could help if you’re sneezing, or coughing, and especially if you have an disease that could spread through air. However, if you sneezed into your hand and touched somebody or something, the germs could still spread. The best way to prevent spreading airborne germs is to immediately dispose of the thing (i.e. napkin) you used to cover your mouth after sneezing or coughing, and always wash your hands properly.

Everytime you cough or sneeze it is like a SPRAYING your germs on other people! (Yuck, right?? LOL) : _

Serious respiratory illnesses like influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), whooping cough, and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) are spread by:

– Coughing or sneezing

– Unclean hands

To help stop the spread of germs,

ALWAYS cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze!

: )

If you DON’T have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

Put your used tissue in the waste basket.

Clean your hands after coughing or sneezing

Wash with soap and water.

or

Clean with alcohol-based hand cleaner.

Note: If you are around elderly or sick people, you MAY be asked to put on a surgical mask to protect others.

Hope this helps! : )

Yes. You haev lots of germs in your mouth. When you exhale hard or sneeze they fly out and get on anything around. Especially sneezing. It comes out at a very high rate of speed, about a hundred miles an hour.
