Geo tourism – the Swiss Alps, the great plains, grand canyon, Mt. Rushmore – you can’t take these places anywhere because they are part of the land and environment where they are. YOu can try to reconstruct them, but it’s not the same – you want to see them where they are.

Eco tourism – whale watching along migration routes, bird watching in specific areas where they live, going to the north pole to see polar bears or the south pole to see penguins.

Again, eco tourism is going to see animals, plants or birds, etc in their natural environment. It is not a zoo or circus where animals are displayed out of their natural environment, or a museum where costumes from people far away are on display. It is going there and seeing it for yourself.
