c = coast range runs in the east

d = diverse – many different kinds of neighborhoods and people

e = earthquakes, prone to them

f = foggy, many mornings

h = hilly, in san francisco and many of the nicer parts of the East Bay

i = industrial district (and associated low cost housing) down by the shoreline because that’s where Kaiser Shipping built all the factories during WWII.

l = left in political leaning, at least west of the coast range

m = microclimates – lots of em – between SF and Walnut Creek can be 40 degrees difference in heat on a summer day

n= never boring

s = suburbs, mostly east of the coast range

t = traffic, lots of it

u = universities, many world class.

a – the [a]ir is clean

b- there is [beauty] all around

c- it’s on the [coast]

d – [downtown] SF is full of extra tall buildings

e- [everyone] is welcome in the Bay Area

f- [Fisherman’s Wharf] is wonderful for both tourists and people who live here

g- There a pleny of [gays] and Ghirardelli Square is a good place for chocolate when you are done staring at the ‘gays’ (sorry, I’m straight, but I do love gays, so I had to put three ‘g’ lettered words in here)

h- the Bay Area is a good [home] for just about anyone

i -[It] is the prettiest area on the West Coast

j -[Just] come and take a look

k- It won’t [kill] you to visit here

l- You’ll [love] it here

Okay, I’m running out of things to say … just ‘open your mind’ and try to ‘think positive’ in your answers to each letter … this is suppsed to be a ‘tour book’ of the Bay Area, so your ‘b’ example really shouldn’t be in your ABCs. Otherwise, have FUN …
