Describe what a state might be like under a machiavellian ruler?

It would have its own military. It would not rely on mercenaries or allies. The ruler would be considered frugal or even miserly, but would have enough money to be self-sufficient, even in the case of a war. The ruler would have a council of wise men who could freely offer advice on a subject when asked, but otherwise no one could contradict the ruler. The state will have the support of the people, even at the expense of the support of a powerful few. The citizens would be trusted with weapons.

a state under Machiavellian rule would be trustful but, you betray that trust your done no second chances you would be sorry. I believe the state would be overall fair in some ways. you would always be on guard and try not to be of greed or you will be punished. The prince would be feared somehow, such as betraying him that’s how he will strike fear into the states peoples hearts, by doing something terrible about it, but will also be loving. that’s all I can come up with hope I helped!
