In the Odyssey they believe in different Gods (more than one) each God has an archetype… typical things they represent and do, habits or patterns…..

An archetype is basically a general category that arches over a lot of smaller groups like a “good guy” archetype would encompass:
Cowboys
Knights
Sheriff’s
etc…
basically anything which people generally associate with good.
A “bad guy” archetype could include
Outlaws
Witches
Thieves
etc.
basically anything people associate with bad.
