I cannot come up with a good idea about ending racism in my workspace. Please help me.?

The purpose of this paper is to begin to construct plans of actions for ending racism (and, indeed, any dystopias that create social injustice). Using the action planning worksheets from class today, imagine you are charged with the task of creating a nonracist workplace. Be specific about the workplace that you imagine because this is (will become) your sphere of influence. What is the underlying philosophy of this institution? What policies or practices will you enact to move your institution toward a full realization of its philosophy? How will you foster right relationships among your employees as you lead them in developing a nonracist workplace?

Ooo, this is a tough one with lots of unanswered questions. Most racist attitudes are based on an unfounded belief in either superiority to, or persecution from, a specific race, or all races in general. Cognitive dissonance training would be a good place to start in order to teach the employees how to compare new information to existing information, and to weed out the unfounded or unrealistic bad information. Team building exercises where the people are specifically encouraged to share their life experiences with others in order to get to know each other better would help to break stereotyping responses. Banning from the workplace of demonstrations of racial or cultural pride for all races and cultures may be necessary in really bad cases. As an extreme, punitive measures or firings would be necessary to eliminate those whose inability to let go of their believes results in instability in the work environment.

This is all very rudimentary and based on extremely generalized circumstances, but it should be a good starting place for an assignment in the hypothetical.

My God, they start the draining of the brain early in school, don’t they? Here’s an idea: Jut let people get along. As a rule, people do get along. Then, get rid of the ones that can’t play nice. Easier and more effective than a freaking action plan to deal with “dystopias” and achieve “a full realization of a philosophy”. How do you regulate racism anyway? Is there a 12 step program somewhere? Also, it’s a workplace, not a socially aware encounter group. No wonder China’s kicking our a** if this is the crap people are being taught. Just do your job or take a walk out the door. Simple.

Oh God how I desire i ought to assert I see that going on already. besides the undeniable fact that that is a lot more desirable & extra perfect for some, there’ll continually be the advise lively on all factors that keep the friction going. In my seventy seven yrs. in this international I easily have seen a super type of adjustments. some are dazzling. a super type of of the individuals are so evil, advise lively, self based, packed with violence & hate. Gangs & mafia type have flowed over our borders & replaced u.s. abode of the courageous & the unfastened. Our militia is sorting out the terriorist on a similar time as the ememy sits in our very own land complaining approximately & no longer helping our militia. that is my view, user-friendly to work out. i’m bored with it additionally. relax certain that God will intervene & the tip would be His Victory. ~~~~~
