core and mantle… i need help!!?
okay.. so i need to find the similarities and differences between the core and the mantle. so can someone tell me what they have in common and what is different about them.
please and thanksss! =]
ps just like 3-4 things would be fine.

common
they are both inside the earth
they are both impossible to reach
they are both very thick
they are both pretty darn hot.

the core is hotter than the mantle
the core is the very center of the earth
the core, i think, is thinner than the mantle
the core is more lava-ish and the mantle is more rock-ish

O.K. It’s been a loooong time since school, but here goes: #1Core and mantle are both layers of rock, just in different forms. #2 Both are located beneath the crust, but at different levels from each other. #3 When the earth was formed they were the same substance, but as it cooled, the mantle differentiated as it solidified. Hope this helps.
