Choose a region in the world (read details plz)?
Hi,
I am taking an international business class and the professor wants us to summarize 3 articles from the financial times eac week from ONE specific region in the world
so if I choose Europe for example, I will have to write about Europe during te whole semester
So I have te choice between:
Europe+ Russia
Asia/pacific
Middle East/ Africa
an the Americas
I am hesitating a lot
I like all regions
but right now I am leaning towards the Americas and Asia
Yesterday I wanted Europe
so I really don’t know what region to pick
What region would you pick and why?

I would pick Asia Pacific because that’s where I’m from and for me, I have a lot more fun learning about it than any other region.

Asia Pacific, because they have a booming economy, and because there is a great deal of good reportage on that economy and the factors fueling it. In the next year, because of the Beijing Olympics, there will be an even brighter spotlight cast on Asia Pacific, so you will have no shortage of information on that part of the world.

I would take either the Americas or Europe, because they’re the biggest and the most news articles are published about them. But that’s me. Choose something that interests you.
