y = 4cos(sin(x))

Using the chain rule:

dy/dx = – 4 sin(sin(x)) (d/dx)(sin(x))

= -4 sin(sin(x)) cos(x).

y = -2csc(9x)

dy/dx = 2 cot(9x)cosec(9x) (d/dx)(9x)

= 18cot(9x)cosec(9x).
