Can someone help with these questions for my daughters homework?

1. Glands in the snakes head produce the venom.

2. Special fangs inject the poison into the victim.

3. The deadly venom can kill a large man.

4. Some snakes are poisonous.

It has been years since I have done this, but I need simple subject and complete subject. Thank you in advance

The simple subject is the ‘real’ subject of the sentence, contained in one word. Basically, you could remove the modifying information and the sentence would still be ‘correct’. “Glands produce the venom.” ‘Glands’ is the simple subject. ‘Glands in the snake’s head’ would be the complete subject.

(Btw, she was probably taught how to do this in class and should have paid better attention or asked the teacher for extra help. When teachers give homework, they don’t give it expecting parents to remember how to do it, but for the KIDS to remember what they’ve done in class. If this is a one-time thing, oh well. But if she’s doing this regularly, watch out! Sorry if this is unwarranted advice it’s just on my mind as I was emailing with a mom earlier today whose son is VERY dependent and can’t do homework on his own even though he should be able to.)
