Hi Joy, is the question: ∫(1/x² + x^4)dx or ∫1/( x²+x^4)dx ?

The first one is easy: -1/x + x^5/5

The second one:

∫1/(x²+x^4)dx =

∫1/x²(1+x²)dx =

∫[1/x² – 1/(x²+1)]dx =

∫1/x²dx – ∫1/(x²+1)dx =

-1/x – arctgx
