As far as studying goes, it isn’t the amount of time spent studying but the quality of that studying. If you feel like you’ve been studying for hours but aren’t really getting anywhere, stop and take a break. Other great study tips are: minimize distractions while studying such as turning OFF the TV or not talking on the phone or surfing the internet during study time, don’t cram at the last minute but study a little each day, the night before class look over your notes from your last class (this helps reinforce what you’ve learned in class and better prepares you for the following day’s class), and ask your teacher for help or find a tutor.

Biology can be a tough subject for a lot of people, even those who are used to making straight As. Don’t get discouraged, just keep working hard and if you find the way you are studying isn’t working, try something else.
