Any literature experts out there?
I’m writing an essay on how certain stories reflect either the Modernism literary period or Postmodernism literary period. I also have to include how the transition between the two periods came about. I know that the World Wars were basically the effect of it…but not the specifics of it….if anyone could help me out or refer me to a website, book or anything it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The word of Nietzsche “God is Dead” is the beginning of a post-modernism. I mark the death of Nietzsche in 1900 as the divide. But the divide is very Gray. To best understand Modernity and what we are today, I recommend reading an essay by Immanuel Kant “What is Modernity?”
We are still trapped in Modernity.
