-10x+y=16

(16,0)

(0, 16)

(-8/5, 0)

(0,-8/5)

Can someone help me and clearly explain how they solved it? I have a hard time understanding explanations

remember that coordinate pairs are listed as (x,y)

so for each answer you can take the values for x and y and replace them with the values of the pair

for example with (16,0) you would have -10(16) + 0 = 16

so does -160 = 16, not so much so try another

with (0, 16) you would have -10(0) + 16 = 16

so does 16 = 16?

theres one other choice that ill give you a correct answer if you work out the last two

you will find out that it is the 2nd one and get 16=16
