Omg i need help! Okay here’s the problem…?

in math we have to make a problem using these numbers in order with only using x,+, -, and / once and im able to put parantheses any where. The problem is 4 _ 2_ 8_1_5=43 Please i need all the help i can get. oh and i have to do it if i want extra credit. please! oh and how do you diide positives and negatives??? thanks

It took me a min but….I think I’ve got it…

(((4+2)*8)/1)-5=43

You of course have to do what’s in the fully enclosed parenthese first which will be 4+2=6

then next is *8 which is 48

then next is /1 which is still 48

then last is -5 which equals 43

Oh and the pos and neg division is just divide like there is no negative and put a neg. sign in front of your answer

(8×5)+(4/2)+1=43

40+2+1

42+1

43

to divide positives and negatives:

example

-4/8

ignore the negative and just divide regularly and then at the end if there is an odd number of negatives its a negative. if there is an even number of negatives its an even.

6*8/1-5=43

48/1-5=43

48-5=43

43=43
