I don’t know if you meant for y to be in the denominator or not

If y is not in the denominator:

c – b = (3/4)y

(4/3)c – (4/3)b = y

If y is in the denominator:

c – b = 3/4y

c/3 -b/3 = 1/4y

3/c – 3/b = 4y

(3/4)c – (3/4)b = y
