solve each side one at a time…

6a*2=12a

b*3=3b

so then 12a*3b=36ab.

now for the other side….

3a*2=6a

6a*b=6ab

now all you have to do is subtract them!

36ab-6ab=30ab

I just finished doing this kind of algebra. Don’t worry – you’ll get the hang of it soon. Just remember that parenthesis mean multiply unless otherwise noted!
