2 trains are 800 miles apart. At 9 AM, they start traveling toward each other, one averaging 37 mph, the other

They will meet at 7:00pm and PASS each other seconds after that. First train should have traveled 370+ miles and the other 430+ miles for a 10 hour trip.

each hour the trains cover exactly 80 miles, right? (train 1 goes 37 miles and train 2 goes 43) – that means that over ten hours they cover 800 total miles (train 1 has gone 370 and train 2 has gone 430).

But yeah, ten hours, so 7 pm – make sense? I hope that helps.
