Last year, I went to a community college. In my political science class, I met a 15 year old boy with a similar problem to yours. He was taking college courses (through a home school program) to get his high school credits. You might ask your parents to look into such a program. He was much happier in that kind of school setting and was going to graduate before he turned 17. Keep in mind this happened in California. Check to see if Texas has a program along the same academic lines. You may do well with older people.

Good luck!

I am 17 with a 21 yearold, and I even find that our age difference makes a huge difference. I am still in highschool and he is not.. But than again I am 17 soon enough I will be an adult.. but your 14 hun, what does a 19 yearold want with you? You’re probably a great girl, but don’t move out and leave your family they care about you, and this guy your not going to be with forever. He needs someone his own age or closer.. He should not be with a 14 yearold. sorry if its harsh to hear but your boyfriend is a creep. Seeing as how you just hit puberty, and just began devolping. Gross. Be a kid while you can. Before that opportunity is gone.

Well you don’t need to be enrolled in an on-line school to be homeschooled.

However, if your parents feel more comfortable with a “school at home” program than they do with a homeschool program, there are several things you can look into.

http://www.k12.com

http://www.aophomeschooling.com

http://www.abeka.com

http://www.connectionsacademy.com

the http://www.k12.com link is where you can find out about the Public School at home option in Texas which is known as Texas virtual academy. Or you could call Texas Virtual Academy directly at 1-866-360-0161.

Just a note, I prefer independent homeschooling, but Public School at home can be viable option for those who either can’t afford homeschooling or just don’t feel comfortable with it.

Penn Foster High School is a great program. I’m currently using it. It’s $900 for all four years of highschool. You can even Pay monthly, $34.

You might have to check the laws for homeschooling in your state. I think TX is the easiest state to homeschool in.

Someone told me about a school that does 9th – 12th. IT’s called American School. They have a website. IT’s Americanschoolofcorr.com MY friend told me that she had a friend who finished three grades in 2 months. And the best part, no TAKS test! I hate the TAKS, I live in TX too, so yeah.

I don’t really know of any online high school, I doubt they exist, another option would be to change school by going to your current high school and ask for a “transfer to another school” or going to private school where things are stricter with less disruptions
