You can study for the GED at home, and then take the test once you have learned the material. Following is a link to a free educational website:

http://ged.free-ed.net/free-ed/ged/

Free-ed.net not only has the GED course, but many other subjects you might want to study once you have completed your GED.

I hope this is helpful.

Maybe these web sites will be of some help.

Check your local library, or adult education centers; often the have the books available at no cost, or offer classes in the evening to prepare.

Most adult education centers have day care available for those who attend classes; look in the phone book, ask around, or contact your local school district for more information.

Good luck.

I hope this isn’t spamming, but try looking up PCDI and/or Ashworth College Online. They are good to work with and have reasonable expectations.
