The guy who suggested the military has a good idea there, but it’s not for everyone. Many companies will hire people in to train up into management. Most of these are restaurants or retail stores, but you can at least make enough to pay the rent. Look for places seeking management trainees.

I suggest doing good in school and getting a scholarship, because all of the old jobs in America that required no college degree are outsourcing to other countries such as India, Mexico, and parts of Asia. I’d say that working in autobody and owning your own business is an ok paying job (not the best but decent without a college degree). Carpenters make alright pay too.

The highest paying job without college would be to create a business of your own. For example, the man who invented Crocs took an ordinary foam material and used it to create a whole sandal. This was the first time anybody had made a whole shoe without using glue or stitches. This immediatly caught on while he started them in Canada. He now makes Crocs in Brazil,Mexico,and China. It is now the most popualar shoe in the world.
Last year, he earned $20 million.

No college is required for any of the above, the salaries of the successful ones are astronomical, but the odds of failure are high. More realistically, consider one of the trades, like a plumber or electrician. They can make more than many college graduates.

not to be sarcastic, but I would say a music career. Think rappers- they don’t finish school, go to college, and most are in and out of jail. I would consider that a pretty good job with excess amounts of money.
