school financial aid…….?

I’m a single parent and am so unhappy with the public school she is attending. I’ve recently had to pull my daughter out of her school b/c the her homeroom teacher had a personal anomosity towards me and he deliberately tried to fail my daughter. I’m tired of the public schools in the my area and would like to put her in private. I am in need of a partial financial aid to help pay for the tuition but make a bit too much. Are there any other funds that I can apply for?I need partial help paying for the school.

First, have you talked with the school about any financial aid that they offer there or completed a Parent’s Financial Statement (https://sss.ets.org/pfsHome.do) for the school?

You may need to do some local research about some civic scholarships that may be available in your area.

Of course there is always the private loan alternative. Some information can be found here: http://www.finaid.org/loans/privatestudentloans.phtml A lot of these are for undergraduate/graduate college students, but there are some lenders on the list that service K-12.

Some additional information regarding private schools can be found here: http://www.capenet.org/index.html

Have you already put in an application for your daughter at a particular school or have been accepted? If so, you should talk to the financial aid person for more information/guidance. Good luck!

There are many student loan lenders. Before you go for one check the rate of interest and also see that the lender is a legitimate one.

Don’t pay any money to get the laon. You can also try for some scholarship online.
