student repayments – apparently 9% – can you pay more if you want?
It’s all in the title really…
i read somewhere on here that when you earn over £15,000 you pay back 9% of your earnings for student loans but can you pay back more if you want in a month?
e.g. if i earned £16,000, 9% would be £1,440 but could I pay back £2,000 if i wanted to and had the money?

I don’t know about in the UK, but in the US you can pay the minmum repayment on a student loan, or you can repay more in order to have it paid off sooner.
You should talk with someone at your school who handles student loans, or talk to your lender for more information. Good luck!
