Is online schooling eligible for student loans and grants?

I am interested in taking some business/computer/communications courses and would like to do it online, but I am not sure if student loans and grants will help pay for these.

Most schools. Not all online schools. You need to check with the school you are thinking about going too. You also need to check to see if their accredited: Start Here CHEA: http://www.chea.org/default.asp. You Also need to apply for financial aid: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

If the school doesn’t have a financial aid program they may not have accrediation or recently lost it. Please check before you take an online course.

However if you get the right school they will help you pay for it.

Good luck.

If the college is a credentialed -certified college then you should be able to get financial aide. Most two year (jr.) colleges offer some on line courses. At our local college they don’t offer many.
