ok I need a student loan for school. I went to their website and I can’t really tell if its a scam or not!?

Or should i just stay with grants and Scholorships ?? and also can you tell me a little about grants in and scholorships and what i have to do to get them just a little info please THANKS!!!!

Astrive offers private loans that are credit based. Make sure you already have filled out your FAFSA application and have all of the federal funding that you are eligible for; if so private loans would be the very last thing I would suggest since they are credit based and have interest rates upwards of 12%.
Edit: As for scholarships and grants I would look here http://www.scholarships.com/ (and no I dont work for them) they have a database you can search through to find diffrent scharships that you might qualify for.

Do not do a private student Loan. The interest rates and the fees will be three times more than federal student loans. If you have to take out loans (and I stress IF) then take out a Perkins loan or a subsidized Stafford loan. These loans will have much lower interest rates and fees than those private loans. I’m attaching a Department of Education publication about fin aid and it has a very good description of the different types of loans, interest rates and minimum and maximum amounts.
