Although this argument might be best for certain types of homework rather than homework in general.

If it’s a debate for fun, talk about how homework cuts into the time needed to increase your skills at text messaging or IMing. How you need that time to search for the latest MP3s of your favorite pop singers. And how homework takes away from the time needed to decompress after a long day of having your brain filled with useless knowledge at school.

Or there is no need for homework because people will just go on yahoo answers and have other people do it for them.

2. Should not get homework because both parent(s) are working and need to help at home, life is difficult.

3. Should not get homework because we need to know something else also, like quitar or piano or excel in sports.

4. Should not get homework because its too stressfull on young peoples minds and senses. Students may start getting XANAX to relax.

5. Should not get homework because we become overweight since we seat on the same chair for hours. Also leads to poor eyesight.

6. Should not get homework because all teachers give homework and this creates a mad-house. If we should get homework it should be structured and agrred by all parties involved.

Those who can’t deliver, give homework.
