FAFSA question can anyone help me?

I recently submitted a FAFSA application and it says my estimated EFC is 368, what does it mean? am I going to qulify for a loan?Thanks everyone for answering.

An EFC of 368 means that

IF all the information on your fafsa is correct that you MIGHT qualify for about $1980.00 in Pell grant per semester (you don’t have to pay back) if you attend school full time (usually 4 classes). You have to meet about a million other qualifications too… no defaulted student loans, no bachelors degree, decent college GPA, not too many college credit hours, and on and on and on…

EFC- expected family contribution.

You will probably get a loan, but your family is expected to put 368 toward your schooling.

EFC stands for expected family contribution. That is quite low so you are probably going to get a Stafford Loan (no interest while you’re in school).
