Do everything in your power to stay away from loans… Best thing to do is get a government grant… Grants are like free money… You will never have to pay that money back…

Did you know that 35 million Americans got -free- money last year alone? There is still time for you to claim your share today. All you need to do is know how and where to ask for it. Unfortunately the general public isn’t aware of the various programs available to them, and billions of dollars go unclaimed each year as a result.

That depends. What type of work will you be doing when you graduate? What is the pay? What is the likelihood you will get hired to a position like that? There are people with college degrees who have pay that isn’t that spectacular. Start talking with people who are in the line of work you’re wanting to do (if you don’t know any, start calling around- most people are nice, or at least will pass you along to someone else who can assist you) Find out from them how they got started, and what they are doing now. Then you’ll know which path to peruse. Also try talking with the career placement services at your perspective school, and talking with a few teachers.

I know you want to enter school in January, but almost all the Financial Aid for 2007-2008 has already been passed out. In January, fill out a FASFA asap. The sooner you fill it out, the more money you receive. You may be able to go to school next Auguest for free.

Student loans are a good option when you have already received all available scholarships and assistance from the college. The interest rates are good but remember they are loans and will have to be paid back.
