Not true. You must make monthly payments on your loan until it is paid in full, you become permanently and totally disabled, or you die once you cease attending a college or university at at least 1/2 time status.

I hope that it doesn’t take you until your 65 to pay off your school loans that would just be sad.

Most student loans you can defer until 6 months after graduation or when your status drops below part-time student. You pay them monthly until they are paid off.

That is not true….unless you die after the age of 65.
