You can apply for financial aid for the spring semester but you’d probably be considered a late applicant; most school deadlines are past for awarding “on-time” aid consisting of grants/scholarhips.

If you have not already done so, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid – www.fafsa.ed.gov). This will generate and EFC (Expected Family Contribution) that your school will use in conjunction with the COA (Cost of Attendance) to determine what type of aid you could/would be eligible.

Talk to a financial aid officer at your school for more information/guidance. Good luck!

Anyone can apply for financial aid, whether they are a dependent or independent student. You should be able to qualify for aid, but as a dependent you will be eligible to only receive a certain amount of grant and loan money, and it will be less than what an independent student would receive.

There are many student loan lenders. Before you go for one check the rate of interest and also see that the lender is a legitimate one.

Don’t pay any money to get the laon. You can also try for some scholarship online.
