I have a question about financial aid.?
Also do i need some proof to show them if I wanna apply for it, because my income is good but its not very good, but its good enough to pay for my college if i needed to, but some of my friends told me its better if I take it so that I can take advantage of it. So can I get clear answers to everything about financial aid, because I don’t know anything about it, I always thought it was a loan but some people say different things.
Favorite Answer
a fee waiver – where the tuition and fees for your classes are paid
grants – money that does not have to be repayed and can be used towards the cost of attending school, such as tuition, books, rent, food, etc.
work-study – aid that is earned through a job (generally on the school’s campus) but is not used to calculate the student’s financial aid for the following year, which would occur with a regular job
loans – money that can be used to cover the costs of attending school, but must be repayed upon leaving school (graduation or dropping out)
scholarships – aid that is disbursed either directly to the student or to the student’s school; the ways this money can be used vary depending on the conditions stipulated by the issuer of the scholarship
You will need to do some more of your own research online and with your school’s financial aid office in order to get additonal information as well as answers specific to your situation. Good luck!
