How long does EMA (education maintenance allowance) take to go through?
because i ordered it about 3weeks ago and it still hasnt came through. By the way im in the UK (England) and go to college. I am also 16.

EMA takes varying times depending on what was required when you filled in the form e.g what proof of earnings were sent etc. They may need to send bits back to you that are incorrect or simply porocess it.
The good news is that as far as I can remember as long as you claim in your first term (which you are doing) it is back paid. Or at least it was when I got it – hope this is still correct.
