If they don’t ask about your grades, then don’t tell them. Since you asked this question, I have to automatically assume that they will ask to see your grades. If they do ask, just tell them that the course was very difficult, and you need a tutor. Tell them how hard you tried, and how much you studied. A lot of people are not math experts. I suggest that you retake the course to get a better grade, and this will show your parents that you are serious about improving your grade, and they may not be so hard on you. I’m in college, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve showed my parents my grades. They see me working hard and doing homework all the time, so they automatically assume that I’m making decent grades. And I am by the way – well the majority of the time.

If you don’t want them to see the class card or any of your other mail, why don’t you just get a PO Box? Go to the school and change your address to the address of the PO Box. That way, they won’t know if you’re receiving a class card or not. Promise them you will work harder next time, and just retake the class as I mentioned earlier. A lot of people are not good at math. I suck at at.

Eh, that’s a tough one. You failed the WHOLE subject? Get a job and pay them back (assuming they paid for it) If they didn’t pay for it, very respectfully explain to them that their money wasn’t wasted.
