Yes, actually, my first year my paid off by a bunch of scholarships..
It’s good to go scholarship hunting. And if you’re approved for a student loan, sometimes they also provide bursaries to help pay off the loan.
But I get too exhausted just applying for scholarships so I try to get a good GPA that will give me automatic scholarships in my department (I’m in engineering).
So work hard in school — don’t get another job, and it’ll pay off. Sometimes people get more from scholarships than in a part-time job during school.

Yes, I have. I got 2 scholarships: one from a non-profit organization for at-risk teenage girls and another from my college. I didn’t have to pay for anything in college because of these scholarships. In fact, they PAID me to go to school.
