Jimmy Pattison who, although not born in B.C., built his

business empire there. He was named CEO of Expo ’86,

he bought Frank Sinatra’s Palm Springs house, he bought John Lennon’s Rolls Royce, he bought Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. It was Jimmy Pattison that escorted Oprah on his yacht to the northern reaches of B.C., Alert Bay, last August… yada yada yada….
