Does it really matter which college you go to? Currently I am a freshman studying business…?

Well, I am attending a small private school in St. Louis. I live 5 hours from the college. My school has a poor academic reputation but it is cheap as I only have $1,500 in loans this year.

The problem with this college is that it is so isolated that no one knows about it. So it will be impossible to find a job /internship in the summer.

Anyway, there is a community college/ adult learning college that is 10 minutes away from my house (5 hours away). People take night classes there from 5PM to 9PM every weekday. Even my hometown is a very depressing area as there are no jobs as well. But maybe I would be able to find a job back at home.

I mean, I know I will have a hard time finding a job either way. But what would you do?

I wanted to go to school in San Francisco but my family would not allow me to. Any way you look at, my life sucks and I will never be anything because my family would never let me do anything.

If you are old enough to be going to college, then you are old enough to decide which college you want to attend. Maybe its time to move out on your own, and go to the school you want in San Francisco. Yes, it might be hard doing it on your own, but there are ALOT of prople who do it. If you are really that interested in getting an internship, I would suggest taking some iniciative and go do it, that right there would show anyone you are a go getter, which in business is a neccesity
