Do I report my partner’s income fo FASFA, or just mine?
I take care of our preschooler and make 0.00 per year.
His dad makes 55,000.00
We live together but are not married.
We have a joint bank account.
I am 32 and would like to get a horticultural degree.

No, you do not have to report his income because you are not legally married. You will report $0 income when filing your FAFSA and your financial aid office may question this information and require a written statement of your situation at a later date.

If you’re not married, you don’t need to list his income.
I’m in the same situation,going through college, my b/f and I living together but since we’re not married,his income doesnt count and since you are a “single mom” ( cuz ur not married) you should have most of schooling paid for.

Why FAFSA is asking for this information is to determine the amount of funds you are eligible to receive.
If you filed taxes jointly you will need to include his income. If you did not file because you did not have income, then your income is zero. It will not affect your eligibility.
