Around how much money will I need before I move from my parents house and move back to california with my?

grandparents, i am going to move there and live wth them for about a year or two or three, and am going there so i can first get residency again and then start college

(answer this question if u can too)

does a college loan sound okay? my parents arent helping me out with money since they cant afford it

Figure out what your living expenses will be. Create a budget, find a job, and go from there.

Student loans are a good idea unless you can afford to get by without them. If you can afford not to, don’t go into debt! Another money saving idea is to attend a junior or community college before going to a four-year college. Community college is often much cheaper and will give you an opportunity to save some money. Also, don’t forget to file the FAFSA, so you can apply for financial aid!

if you can manage to get a loan.. college wont cost too much.. even without a loan – some college tuitions go as low as $10K per year – you can get a loan for that

most people get a part time job at the college campus! which pays for the tuition as well as living expenses.. try applying to state universities – they are typically cheaper!

I would say – you need to save atleast 5-6K before starting out for college (to be safe in case you cant find a job right away!)
