Are You Allowed To Use More Than One Small Scholarships?

If So Then How Many? Does It Matter How Many? Does It Depend On The College You Go To? And Does Anyone Know A Website Where I Can Find Scholarships Besides collegeboard.com?

You can get scholarships from lots of places. Sometimes your high school offers alumni scholarships. There are scholarships from Kohl’s for example for community service you have done.

You can search on line for scholarships from the colleges you are looking at as well. Search their financial aid website.

Can you use more than one scholarship? You’d better believe it! I worked with a student last year who received two scholarships from the college, two from different alumni groups, plus her Pell Grant, plus work study, plus a laptop from another scholarship.

Check in with your high school counseling department starting in October. Believe it or not, some scholarships start that early. Check in WEEKLY! Also, many state colleges have scholarships that have a deadline as early as December 1 for students with good ACT scores and grades. If you haven’t taken the ACT or SAT at least twice, schedule it again. Most schools will take the highest score from the math, etc. and combine them. If you didn’t do as well in English for example, really study for that part the second time.

Good luck!

You can use as many as you want. There should be no limit. You can find scholarships.com, fastweb.com, or collegeboard.com. But your best bet would be to look for local scholarships with your counsler.
