Are PHEAA & PELL offered to students of Beauty Schools?
Favorite Answer
But they have to be a certain length in order to qualify. (For example, you may be able to get a Pell grant for the 1 year beauty school, but not just for the nail program. Or you could get it for a 1 year nursing certificate, but not for your CNA. Truck driving schools usually don’t qualify becase they are too short as well.)
Some schools are not eligible to receive these funds however, or some will only allow the grants and not do loans. You will need to check out each school for sure. I’m attaching a link to the Dept of Eds approved schools.
Of course you would still need to qualify for the grant based on income and such.
Good Luck
